Barlow Jacobs is a writer, director, producer, and actor who started his career by co-writing, producing and starring in the feature LOW AND BEHOLD which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The film went on to win nine festival awards, five for Best Narrative. Barlow has gone on to work with an extraordinary group of filmmakers throughout his career, including Paul Thomas Anderson, Jeff Nichols, David Lowery, David Gordon Green, Craig Zobel, and Michael Almereyda. He wrote and directed the experimental short film PERMANENT SKINS. It wowed audiences for its unique storytelling style and technical achievement. Barlow Executive Produced DAVYEON, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards in 2018. Barlow directed, produced, and co-edited the feature length documentary THE VOYAGE OUT, which was financed by the Academy Award winning team behind EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCEThe film is set to come out in the fall of 2024. 

His commercial work includes spots for Sunny-D, Juicy Juicy, Tractor Supply, Kohl’s, Organic Valley, Lodge, Hello, and a collaboration with Sir Mix-a-Lot for GH Creators, amongst others.
